Charyblantis by SlyOwl

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Battling a mighty whirlpool and then finding yourself in an underwater paradise filled with riches galore. Sounds great - well, at least that's what the scurvy crew of a small vessel thought. However when they tried to take the riches of  Charyblantis, they soon found themselves having to escape from pretty angry undersea beasts.

Yargh, there be treasure under the sea!

SlyOwl delivers us another outstanding MOC. Jam packed with hidden treasure, the aquatic city of Charyblantis is certainly an awe inspiring creaton. Filled with details and undersea warriors, the MOC is split in two, a top section and an underwater section. Both house great building skills and techniques. The interesting name as some of you may have guessed derives from Charybdis, a whirlpool in Greek mythology, and Atlantis.

Among Brickforge's new additions to their range of customs are a primitive spear and adze - great for variety in any Islander army. The new designs also helps differentiate between Incas, Mayas and Aztecs etc. and the Polynesian Islanders from the Lego sets.

Honey, I think we should find a new travel agent...

The MOC includes tons of exciting minifig action in every corner, along with some lovely buildings with unique design elements such as the very creative black roof. Every time you look you'll see a quirky new detail to enjoy.
