Will one of the redcoats be able to gain his freedom?
Sergeant Phes has captured a few famous Redcoats. This time, that doesn't automatically mean they're dead. Captain Bluehair is feeling generous and he gives them a second chance. They can enter the 'Red Lympics', and the one that survives gains freedom. What are the challenges and who will be the winner?

Do they come out of the classic horse... ...or something different?
Do you know the story about the battle of Troy? Well, this is kind of the same story but it sets place in the age of piracy and it's not about Helen of Troy but about Helen of Toy. With her face she could launch a thousand ships! She's been kidnapped and the redcoats want her back. It's much more hilarious than the original story and has a great ending. And where would our ZCerberus be without his bananas?

Time to pass your thoughts on to the LEGO Group!
The latest community survey was in April 2010. Now we want to ask you again to fill in a new survey (with some old questions, but also some new ones) to know even more about global AFOL (defined as ages 20+) and TFOL (defined as ages 13-19) communities. Adult or Teenage Fans of LEGO bring an important perspective to the LEGO Group. So this information is of great interest to the LEGO Group.
Please take a moment to complete this short online survey. Afterwards you can see the key findings of the last survey and tell us how the current one went in the LEGO Pirates forum.
Thank you on behalf of The LEGO Community Team!

That's not the right way to handle those fine drinks!
For as long as anyone can remember there has been an ongoing battle between Bluecoats and Redcoats. Capt. Thomas Foolery shows us this history like the Redcoats remember it. The story is being told to settle the disagreement once and for all. But for how long will it really last? And why do the Redcoats think they are the best?
Find out in Capt. Thomas Foolery's ToRII-entry "The history of the coats"!

Oh no! He is turning himself into a redcoat!
Using dynamite to blow up just one enemy soldier? That's quite cruel isn't it? But a redcoat came up with this idea and was promoted for it! In Kerntechniker's comic, you'll see this and more (like some bluecoats getting slaughtered). So if you are a true redcoat, you can't miss this one! For the bluecoats among us, it's a good reason for taking revenge in an even more cruel way!

Want to know how this ends? Take a look in the pirates forum!
The 2nd Tournament of Retribution is running smoothly with many great entries already! For example the entry from Emperor Claudius Rome, in which he turns bluecoats into redcoats (and not in a soft way!). And KingoftheZempk his entry with many cruel things like fish-slapping and throwing fruits and vegetables!

One of the best Lego ships ever made!
And another fine vessel is almost ready to sail the brick-oceans! It's the French frigate Achille, with 22 guns on the gundeck, 6 on the topdeck, 6 swivel guns and 2 bow chasers (so be careful!). This ship combines all the best details and techniques of other ship builders + Perfectionist his own inventive ideas. A must see for all the ship-lovers among us! It already has a perfect rigging and is also going to get sails, making it even more impressive!
Sail to the Frigate Achille WIP by Perfectionist now!

A nice diorama, with 2(!) Imperial Flagships!
Guss finally has a new camera and a new job, so now he's ready to be back on Eurobricks! For the occasion, he shows us some pictures of his diorama at Japan Expo 2010, in Paris. It's a very nice one with a strange and funny combination of Space- and PirateLEGO. There are also a lof of fine buildings with great details, and things like spaceships coming out of a rock with forts and houses on top of it. And don't miss the poor guy in the barrel!
Check out Freelug's Pirate little diorama by Guss in the forum!
