6248 Volcano Island Redux
Many current fans of LEGO Pirates never knew the classic sets back in the day. Sure there are the legends such as the Black Seas Barracuda, but there were in fact many other sets some modern fans never had. Eurobricks user 74louloute leans in to breach this gap by adding his own spin on the 1996 set "6248 Volcano Island" made for the L13 contest on Piratebrick.net. Using different rock techniques, "fleshy" skin tones, a home-made sail, and even a working volcano, he creates a new image for classic Pirates that everyone can now know.
