As of late, the ongoing battle between Redcoat and Bluecoat supporters - a conflict that taken the Pirate Forum by storm since 2005 - has finally met its day of reckoning. That day is tomorrow, July 30: the scheduled starting point of the 1st Annual Redcoat VS. Bluecoat Tournament of Retribution, lead by Commodore Hornbricker and Martin Super. And Classic-Pirates.com is the only place you can tune in to for LIVE coverage of the brawl!

Once Tournament Moderator and respected forum Admiral Zorro randomly selects which team will be facing which, each member builds two MOCs that aim to brutally humiliate and disrespect the opposing team. Once each team member has built and posted their two creations, judges will decide which group is the victor by using set criteria, such as which vignettes were the funniest, which creations were the best built, and which people posed the better bribe.
Want to know more about the rules of the tournament? Go to the enlistment thread to learn all about them!
Even if you're not participating in the contest, you can still join in the fun. The Redcoat VS. Bluecoat battle is still raging throughout the forum! You can visit the Redcoat VS. Bluecoat thread to slander the other side, and monitor Classic-Pirates.com in the coming days for updates and information about the 1st Annual Redcoat VS. Bluecoat Tournament of Retribution!

Watch out for the giant squid!
The tale begins with Hook Hand Harry,
Who had a taste for calamari,
He rustled up a motley crew,
Two other pirates; Hugh and Pugh,
And in a little punt this bunch,
Set out to hunt a little lunch.
Alas, despite their preparation,
And much to Harry's consternation,
The hunting trip went quite awry,
Their boat was hoisted to the sky,
They fell into the ocean water,
And ended up as octo-fodder.
