You can almost hear the pirate captain screaming, "Take all you can!!!"
This isn't the first time our news scouts have stumbled across a nice MOC by Flickr member Peter deYeule and it almost certainly will not be the last. This time Peter gives us an action scene of a pirate raid on a New England town. According to the creator himself, the pirates seek all the food, gold, beer, water and prisoners they can take. There is a lot of fine detail in this MOC, from the SNOT water to the tiled animal barn to the flames on the villagers' roofs. Head to the forum for a link to even more pictures of this creation now!

Napoleon's army never looked so sharp!
Classic-Pirates.com has been blessed with its fair share of excellent Napoleonic War customizers and Eurobricks newcomer DucadiYork shows he should be counted among them. The Italian customizer is molding his own weapons and articles of clothing as well as modifying LEGO elements including helmets and saddles to outfit his "Grand Armèe". This project looks like a massive undertaking and though it has just begun, DucadiYork has already produced several finished figures. This looks like a thread to watch, so get to the forum and bookmark it now!

Is this the final LEGO Pirate set ever?
First we debated, "LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, was it true?" Then we all pondered aloud, "Would that theme be any good?" Then we asked, "Are we excited?" And finally we question, "How will Pirates of the Caribbean compare to the 'classic pirates' theme?!"
Now the debate has turned again. One has to wonder, "Will we see ANY LEGO pirate sets, whether they be in the Caribbean or not, in 2012?" Voice your opinions, thoughts and rampant speculations now!

Perfect blend of chaos and craftsmanship!
Eurobricks member Corioso perfectly blends the fleshy figures from LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Prince of Persia into this superb MOC. The figures are not the only highlight here as Corioso also built interior spaces in all the buildings and provides many well taken photos of the whole creation to let a story unfold.

And now for something completely different.
Eurobrick's member Basiliscus shows us something we do not see very often, a colorful Mayan MOC. Basiliscus says the MOC was built to go along with the red and tan geometrical pattern featured on its floor. The geometrical pattern is not the only thing that makes this MOC great. I love the minifigures' inventive tribal dress (especially the black and red priest), the statues on the temple and docking area and the brick-built canoe.

Imperial Trading Post Redux... Redux...
This is not just another ForbiddenCove.com Jolly Roger Contest entry, this is a beautiful re-imagining of a classic pirate set. Peter deYeule's version of the classic set really does feel like a place where merchants bring their wares. The highlights of Peter's version include a light house on the tiled docks, two well built cranes and a great, updated trading ship.

Beautiful detailing make this pirate town come to life!
Piazza is alive! Not only has Flickr member Hardegon done a great job with the larger aspects of this MOC, like the houses and great tiling work on the streets, but also with all the small details, like a fountain, street light, medieval statue and all the merchants peddling their wares. The details are certainly the best aspect of any MOC and these details make this town pop.

LEGO elements are even used for the rigging!
Sir Francis Drake’s Golden Hinde is famous for circumnavigating the globe. Brickshelf member t-brick brings us a new interpretation on Drake’s flagship with this wholly brick-built beauty. All the detail seems just right, from the perfect English galleon shape to the gorgeous color scheme.
