For the 2009 Pirate Theme the LEGO Group used the newer, larger sharks which first appeared in the Agent sets.

• Would you prefer to see a return to classic sharks if future LEGO Pirate sets are released?
• Or maybe it should be the newer shark all the way.
• Or perhaps it could be a mixture of both, depending on the set
• Or maybe the LEGO Group should

But how do Pirate LEGO fans feel about this change?

The LEGO Pirates line has been cancelled for the time being.  Something us Pirate fans are all too familiar with, but to a new comer, the question has been asked.  "Is it too late to get into the LEGO Pirates Theme?  Most of us will immediatly shout out, "of course not!"   Listen to both sides and vote your opinion.

Maintaining the Pirate Indexes is a difficult job which uses up valuable time. If you were to only use them occasionally, or not at all, the staff's efforts to keep them in check would be fruitless. That's why Mister Phes wants to know if you find them useful - would you prefer that the indexes were to be kept up to date or that the staff embark on other endeavors?

Today's poll is about two themes, both of them Pirate related. The first is currently non existent as a theme however many LEGO fans would look forward to the theme if it was announced. Anyone for a heated debate? Forum member David Thomsen brings up the question: Now that we know there will be no new sets in 2010, what will we have in 2011? Is there a chance for POTC? Or should The LEGO® Group stick with Classic LEGO Pirates? What do you think?
