On a small Island somewhere in the vast blue ocean survives Laffite. Living in a small hand crafted hut with his trusty pig. He hangs up his fish outside his hut whilst making  a pointy harpoon or two.

Oink! Oink!

SlyOwl succeeds to wow us again with yet another outstanding MOC. A myriad of contemporary building techniques adds to the MOC's interest and features such as a uniqueness. The hut is fully furnished with small details such as furniture and even a skull. The surrounding area is in no way less detailed with  a great smoke technique and much much more.

Charyblantis by SlyOwl

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Battling a mighty whirlpool and then finding yourself in an underwater paradise filled with riches galore. Sounds great - well, at least that's what the scurvy crew of a small vessel thought. However when they tried to take the riches of  Charyblantis, they soon found themselves having to escape from pretty angry undersea beasts.

Yargh, there be treasure under the sea!

SlyOwl delivers us another outstanding MOC. Jam packed with hidden treasure, the aquatic city of Charyblantis is certainly an awe inspiring creaton. Filled with details and undersea warriors, the MOC is split in two, a top section and an underwater section. Both house great building skills and techniques. The interesting name as some of you may have guessed derives from Charybdis, a whirlpool in Greek mythology, and Atlantis.

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

Yar! I be needin' ya to row me ta Cuba ya limey fool! Those are the possible words of the pirate aboard that forced the poor soldier to row him to Cuba. More likely is that fact that he has a cannon shoved up his nose.

He has a cannon shoved up his nose!

'Take Me to Cuba' by Crimson Wolf is both funny and imaginative featuring humorous details and what looks to be a great background story line. The MOC is well complimented by a neat Photoshop background.
