Battle of La Haye Sainte, a Lego creation by DanMov

The battle begins...

Classic-Pirates.com user DanMov has shown us his Bayonets at Dawn contest entry. The MOC represents the beginning of the Battle for La Haye Sainte.

It's a very big diorama which could probably be easily used for miniature wargaming of some sort, using Lego soldiers!

Don't cry for your hair

Don't cry for your hair

Inspired by Louis XVI of France,  ZeeK shows the outcome of treason.  Many pirates likely are far too familiar with this scene.  From the impressive army to the beautifully built guillotine, this MOC is wonderful to look at and speaks many words in a single photo.

Shark Attack, a pirate Lego creation by Scrat

Seems hungry...

Check out this very nice-looking MOC from Eurobricks and Classic-Pirates.com member Scrat.

The giant hungry creature seen here is of course a Duplo shark, which, as you see, fits pretty well as part of this violent and bloody scene.

It doesn't seem like the pirates have any chance of survival...

The Secret Of Castle Rock Cove! by Derfel Cardarn

what are those pirates using the cove for?

Yes, Derfel Cardarn has reached the frontpage...again! He produces MOC's in a very high velocity and with a lot of skills. This time, he wanted to make a peaceful scene. At least, that's what it seems, because there's a lot going on beneath the surface! A pirate clan has made his headquarters inside a secret cave and now it's filled with treasure! If you're a big fan of Lego, you just can't miss this MOC!

A mini-diorama.

A mini-diorama.

Mariann Asanuma: After surviving twenty long years on the high seas, three mutinies (two of them he instigated), and being stranded on a desert island five times Captain Brickbeard has decided to retire and give up his life of plundering and pillaging -- well semi-retire, you can never have enough plundering in your life.

Now we all know where the bell sound comes from!

Now we all know where the bell sound comes from!

Eurobricks member Derfel Cardarn strikes again! This time he has been working on this church! With some great building and landscaping techniques he managed to surprise us once again. There is even a sinister story behind it which you really have to read! Perhaps we will see some night scenes in the near future as well...

Now hurry to the forum and discuss For Whom The Bell Tolls by Derfel Cardarnbefore the priest closes the doors!

Watch out for the Blowgunners!

Watch out for the Blowgunners!

Exotrator surprises us with his nice comeback, making a Spanish Colonial Outpost! There are a lot of cool aspects in his creation, the landscaping looks great and there is an interesting Carib blowgunner in there as well.

Make sure you check Exotrator's Colonial Outpost out before the Carib blowgunners capture the outpost!

Shipwreck Island by Matn

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

Many months ago an Imperial Governor was captured aboard a Pirate vessel. Soon after the Pirates got caught up in a terrible storm and were shipwrecked upon a desert island along with the captive governor. After running out of provisions from the Captains cabin the wrecked crew are waiting for rescue on a diet of bananas and fish.

I caught a fish!

The new MOC from Matn, Shipwreck Island, mixes many different techniques and ideas in to a well designed MOC. It has the right amount of Island, Sea and other scenic elements like the wrecked ship's cabin. Also adding the authentic looking tent created by using the ship's sail was a nice and well pulled off idea.
