Seems rather quiet...
Check out this fine MOC from Brickshelf user Elena, brought to our attention by Classic-Pirates.com news scout SirSven7. The place seems rather peaceful for a pirate house, but hey - those guys need some place to relax too!

Volcano Island Outpost, where are the boats?
Captain Heineken has brought us a a small outpost where the bluecoats can stand guard for any incoming redcoats. It may be small but it is designed well. I especially like the walls made out of 1 x 1 round bricks. I don't think any redcoats will be getting by this outpost anytime soon. I wonder how those bluecoats are going to switch out shifts?

Relics of a Mayan city.
Classic-Pirates.com user Capt. Stabbin has built this MOC inspired by a real-life Mayan city called Palenque. It really catches the feel of the original - you can tell it yourself by comparing it to the picture provided by Capt. Stabbin himself in the forum thread.

The outpost may have been forgotten, but the MOC certainly hasn't!
Check out this great creation from Flickr member Trevor Van Aalst! Unlike some of the bustling MOCs we have seen lately, Trevor made this MOC convey a feeling of abandonment yet he did not skimp on the details to do so. Notice the custom palm tree, brick-built tattered sail, perfectly lifeless minifigures and the beginning signs of decay in the nicely built round tower. Subtly is harder to achieve than chaos, so let's give three cheers to Trevor for pulling it off so flawlessly.

You can almost hear the pirate captain screaming, "Take all you can!!!"
This isn't the first time our news scouts have stumbled across a nice MOC by Flickr member Peter deYeule and it almost certainly will not be the last. This time Peter gives us an action scene of a pirate raid on a New England town. According to the creator himself, the pirates seek all the food, gold, beer, water and prisoners they can take. There is a lot of fine detail in this MOC, from the SNOT water to the tiled animal barn to the flames on the villagers' roofs. Head to the forum for a link to even more pictures of this creation now!

The mysterious fort known only as Pirates 2
Our News Scout has been busy looking for Pirate creations worthy of the classic-pirates.com blog. Today we have a fort known only as Pirates 2. It is a beautifully made fort that even has a grassy section for the royal cows to graze.

Not even Cannons can stop Captain BeerBeard
A little cannon fire never scared a Pirate. Eurobricks own Captain Beerbeard brings us a delightful MOC showing his Pirate hideout that has seen its share of battle. From a great water technique to the cannon damaged building, this MOC is worth checking out.

Perfect blend of chaos and craftsmanship!
Eurobricks member Corioso perfectly blends the fleshy figures from LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, LEGO Harry Potter and LEGO Prince of Persia into this superb MOC. The figures are not the only highlight here as Corioso also built interior spaces in all the buildings and provides many well taken photos of the whole creation to let a story unfold.
