Look out for that shark!
While Legoland Florida may have its own Miniland section devoted entirely to LEGO pirates, they also boast an impressive shipwreck in their Florida section. This great photo best captures the angle and details of the scene.

Looks like a peaceful place...
If you're a pirate fan (which is probably the case since you're reading this), then you should already have played The Secret of Monkey Island, a fantastic and humoristic point & click game that tells the story of a man who desperately wants to be a pirate. You may think "Why do he talk about a computer game? I came here to see wonderful pirate MOC!". Well, Tom Remy has created a full story clearly inspired by this fantastic game (did I tell you that you MUST play it?), which is really funny. But don't get too distracted and take your time to enjoy this wonderful MOC with stunning technics and light effects.

Lights, camera, awesome!
Another new creation by TheBrickAvenger shows the power of good photography. The build is clean and beautiful, I especially like the two-tone sand and the palm tree, but the MOC is enhanced greatly by the perfectly clean background and evenly lit photo.

Boom goes the dynamite!
A little birdy told me the redcoats may soon be seeking some retribution. There is no faster path to revenge than a big old explosion. Horry does an awesome job of capturing a MOC that looks like it is in mid explosion! I am especially fond of the smoke and the way the building is flying apart.

Check out that rigging!
It's more common for pirate builders to build Spanish or British ships, as they are more renowned for running into Pirates. However Elephant Knight decided to build this American vessel instead. The details, rigging, and color scheme work so well. What do you think of this adaption of the USS Constitution?

Where's All the Rum?
Shipwrecks happen, but when it happens to you remember step one: locate the rum! Matthew Hurt built this amazing shipwreck scene with tattered brick sales and planks everywhere. Looks like the pirates are making the best of it though, at least they have a safe place from the rain.

Porto de Sao Filipe
Toltomeja has created a simple scene with a fort high up on a rocky plateau. There are a lot of great small details like the uneven planking on the dock, seagulls, and a great statue.

Big power in a small package.
Everyone loves a good underdog story, well here's one on the high seas! One little canon, will they be able to take out the ship and head home with much needed gold and rum? It's going well so far!
