pirates soldiers sailors ships keelhaul chain deck gunports captain blood

What a mess!

And another MOC from a flickr member. A keelhaul: a sailor gets pulled from one side of the ship to the other, around the keel. The captain doesn't look very friendly with his dragon plume, making it seem like keelhauls are a daily business on his ship.

Stinky sewers down below

The perfect smelly hiding spot!

For the Rat Award, a special catagory in the Tournament of Retribution, Skalldyr presents his latest work. When you are running away with your arms filled with treasure, and Imperial Watchmen chasing upon you, it's better to hide untill the storm is over. Sometimes no other option then the sewers down below is available.

A cross-section of a part of the ship, a LEGO MOC by BaronSat

The sailors are busy...

Sometimes we do show you old MOCs which definitely deserve being featured on Classic-Pirates.com. This is the case with this vignette, built by BaronSat in 2006.

This MOC features a cross-section of a ship's hull, showing various activities taking place on a typical day at sea. And there is much to be done on a ship like this one!

Micro-scale Eldorado Fortress by Pallaeon on Classic-Pirates.com

Forum member Pallaeon stuns us all with this spectacular MOC! It is the undoubtableform of the ledgendary Eldorado Fortress, but in this case a brilliantly crafted micro-scale version of it. The attention to detail in this is stunning, and it is certainly one for the pirate micro-scale history books.

Pirate Captains vs Governors (Hispabrick Contest) on Classic-Pirates.com

Eurobricks and Classic-Pirates.com member Gobernador shares with us news of a new pirates contest hosted by Hispabrick member Evo called Pirates Vs Governors.  Gobernador shares his entry for the contest, a great little creation depicting that dreams are decieving. With some nice techniques such angle of the governor's head in his bed and the though bubbles, this MOC is worth a look.
