Due to the sad passing of our friend Admiral Zorro we have decided not to proceed with the Seven Seas Contest at this time.
This is a very painful decision given the hundreds of hours that went into the Talking Skull Promotion, but Zorro was instrumental to the operations of the main contest and we must make revisions to proceed without him.
The prizes for the Talking Skull Promotion will be shipped to the winners as planned.
Discuss this further in the LEGO Pirates Forum.

At the age of 27, our staff member Zorro (Dieter) sadly passed away.
It's hard to sum up all the good things Dieter did for our community. He was one of the pillars behind Classic-Pirates.com and Eurobricks.com, someone who was always friendly and willing to help others. Dieter was not just a talker, but also working very hard behind the scenes with some examples being his fund raising allowing us to do a number of awesome Pirate contests. He was also the one buying most of the prizes and taking care of shipments for every pirate contest we did these last few years.
His unexpected death was a huge shock to all of us. We'll miss our Lord Admiral!
Feel free to write a few words for Zorro in our forum.

The official trailer has been released!
Eurobricks member Andre1989nl shares the official trailer for the upcoming movie "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" with us. A very promising movie to look forward to! Mermaids, zombies, Blackbeard and many more dangers on the road to the "Fountain of Youth"!
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides: captures the fun, adventure and humor that ignited the hit franchise – this time in Disney Digital 3D™. In this action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise, Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love-or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.
When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
