Mister Phes presents us with another fine review: this time the classic 1481 Desert Island, an early form of Impulse set. Featuring the starving, marooned pirate with only a parrot and a saucepan for company, this set was a great addition to any pirat's collection. Will he ever make it away from the island and past the hungry shark?

"Does the LEGO Pirate Forum take too long to load?"

One of the concerns at Classic-Pirates.com is the amount of take it takes the LEGO Pirates Forum skin to load. The first time it loads on my system (i.e. after a fresh Windows install) it may take a little long, but after the images are cached it's not too bad, of course this may not be the case for everyone else.
So share your thoughts on the load time of the Pirate Forum skin.
Behold the Volcano Island! In the heart of this calm and pleasant Island is a fiery volcano.. and that volcano demands a sacrifice!
Duke's latest is a wonderfully tranquil island with lucious vegetation, chattering monkeys and a bathing pool. Only... watch out for the fiery volcano and inevitable sacrifice!
Evildead's scene is reminiscent of classical Pirate sets, yet retains the aura of a fine MOC, capturing the slightly shanty-town-esque feel of the real-life port which inspired this. Watch out for the rat wars!
This port has an Inn with a bar, two bedrooms and a warehouse with a working crane. All the roofs and rooms are detachable. This turns the moc even more playable!
