TheBrickster seems to be currently spending a lot of his free time in the Name Of The Holy Brick, just hours after his previous reviews he made another pictorial review about this fantastic Pirate Construction Set (6192). Thank you TheBrickster!
A bit more info: For the first time LEGO releases a small scala of Construction Sets, something closely linked to the Creator sets, but still a bit different. For now, there is one Pirates, one City and one Castle Construction set, although I believe they might develop more if this is a succes (and going by this great review, I think they will sell very well!).
This is a good initiative from LEGO!
They cost 10 USD and the set is recommended for ages 4 to 7, but because of the good MOC parts, the unique minifig and the low price, this Pirate Construction set will appeal to a lot of AFOLs as well!
Head your merry way over to the LEGO Pirates forum to read the 6192 Pirate Construction Set Review by the Brickster!

As you can see in the above picture the beard piece makes an official apperance in a Pirate set for first time ever and it's very suited to the Robin Crusoesque mini-figure which it adorns.

How much do the new Pirate Sets costs?
Forum user Card has spotted the 2009 pirate sets at a Toys R Us in the USA and he's kindly shared his findings. We're not yet certain if these are the recommended retail prices, but you can still check them out in the New Pirate sets at Toys R Us thread.
Once again we've discovered another large Imperial Guard army for sale oneBay. These guys look familiar, so maybe they're up for sale again or maybe the last auction winner was a non-paying bidder. If you're not prepared to pay then don't bid!
