Notice the clever use of black hoses?
This may be a small MOC, but upon closer inspection it's a very clever and detailed piece of work. Eurobricks member Mr. Townsend did a marvellous job on this powerful short-range cannon. This weapon caused even more deadly splinters on enemy ships, hence it's nickname the smasher. A great addition to many a LEGO ship! Sponge, wormer, bucket and cannonballs, it's all there!

Yargh!
Whilst pirates usually carry mermaid or anchor tattoos on their arm, some Lego pirate fans choose a pirate tattoo on their turn. There's not much left of the fact that Lego was designed to be a kid's toy. Lego tatoos is an AFOL thing for sure, and they exist of many more themes!

"Well Jack, this seems like a safe place to go ashore"
Coming back from a raid, these pirates find themselves on an island where the natives don't look very friendly. An easy night by the campfire probably won't happen. The story is funny, and the MOC is nice as well, with an interesting cave, a large statue and more.

Palm trees and Armada soldiers: check!
Typical tall windows, large doors, holy water and a statue of Saint Joseph are some of the things you'll find in this Spanish Catholic mission from the 16th century. Eurobricks member Hiawatha did a nice job on this MOC, and the lighting looks good as well, representing sunset in Florida.

An online ship battle played with your own LEGO ship!
Some time ago there was a trial of this game. Now it is perfectionized by Eurobricks member Horry. This game features real LEGO ships while it can be played online. We're still looking for participants. All you need to do is get yourself familiarized with the rules, and enter by making a bird's eye view picture of your ship. May the best pirate win!

A small part of the impressive ship.
What to say? This is an extremely realistic 64-gun ship of the line with a huge lot of new techniques. A must see!

One of very few MOC's with a soldier doing the laundry.
On tropical island somewhere in the caribbean is a beautiful small outpost. The apples, animal and laundry make the scene look quite realistic. This effect is also enlarged by the variety of plants. Not much is known about the builder's ideas about this, but there seem to be plans for a larger piratical building.

"what a ship is... what the Black Pearl really is... is freedom!"
Even though there hasn't been a new Pirates of the Caribbean LEGO set for a while now, there are still quite a lot of different new Black Pearls in the make. Here are two fine examples, made by Eurobricks member -DoNe-, and goruzaeru. They both have unique features even though they clearly have been made after the same ship.
