Two new Black Pearls

"what a ship is... what the Black Pearl really is... is freedom!"

Even though there hasn't been a new Pirates of the Caribbean LEGO set for a while now, there are still quite a lot of different new Black Pearls in the make. Here are two fine examples, made by Eurobricks member -DoNe-, and goruzaeru. They both have unique features even though they clearly have been made after the same ship.

HMS Intersector

A blue Redcoat ships to fight the Bluecoats!

Even though this ship is quite basic, it looks splendid! Euobricks member Sebeus I didn't overdo it on the decorations, but the ship has everything that a good ship needs. And there are also some nice details to be found.

More ships for the fleet!

f.l.t.r: Furieuse, Médée, Magicienne, Concorde, Sirène, Aigle.

Eurobricks member Perfectionist doesn't share just one or two ships with us, he's made an entire fleet of six ships! Making use of only the best minifig illusion scale shipbuilding techniques these vessels are some of the best ever made. New techniques have also been applied,  making them what Perfectionist calls NextGen ships.

The Flying Dutchman

DarkTemplar's take on the Flying Dutchman

The Flying Dutchman has been built by a handful of builders before, with each version showcasing unique features and details. DarkTemplar continues the tradition with his version of Davy Jones' famous ship. The color scheme of grey, black, and dark green works surprisingly well for this vessel, and the white leaf pieces used as sails are particularly creative. The ship is also built in the scale of a set, so that it wouldn't dwarf official LEGO pirate ships like The Black Pearl or the Queen Anne's Revenge.

With four different shades of brown.

A nice, realistic and fast looking brig has been made by Eurobricks member turambar. It's his first real attempt at making a LEGO ship, and it's a good one. There are quite some interesting features to be found, such as brickbuilt sails, a capstan,  and snot hatches and grates. When you're in need of a look-out, this ship is your man!

Danish navy brig by Anders T

With a beautiful lifeboat as well!

Anders T has made a few very impressive large ships on LDD, and this brig is his first reallife MOC with the same techniques. This ship is refreshing and very historically accurate. It doesn't have sails yet, so an update is to be expected.

LEGO Pirate Gallus MOC Corioso

This is your Imperial Flagship on steriods

After a 6 month time investment, Eurobricks' member Corioso brings us a ship-of-the-line named Gallus.  Corioso mixed many modern colors and parts with some old school blue coat soldiers to produce this super ship.  When perusing the finer details, be sure to check out the custom cannons, custom lanterns and the special guest serving as figurehead!

Round up your blue coat soldiers, then discuss Gallus in the forum.

Queen Anne's Revenge by -DoNe-

A high cabin combined with a slim design.

And another Queen Anne's Revenge is ready to sail the waves! The official Pirates of the Caribbean line may be over, but Blackbeard's fleet is getting stronger every day. This is a very fine example made by Eurobricks member -DoNe-. The decks are great in dark tan, the cabin is modular and it has a working anchor.
