LEGO Pirate Gallus MOC Corioso

This is your Imperial Flagship on steriods

After a 6 month time investment, Eurobricks' member Corioso brings us a ship-of-the-line named Gallus.  Corioso mixed many modern colors and parts with some old school blue coat soldiers to produce this super ship.  When perusing the finer details, be sure to check out the custom cannons, custom lanterns and the special guest serving as figurehead!

Queen Anne's Revenge by -DoNe-

A high cabin combined with a slim design.

And another Queen Anne's Revenge is ready to sail the waves! The official Pirates of the Caribbean line may be over, but Blackbeard's fleet is getting stronger every day. This is a very fine example made by Eurobricks member -DoNe-. The decks are great in dark tan, the cabin is modular and it has a working anchor.

LEGO Pirate Golden Hinde MOC Rufus and Pandora

Set sail for Brickworld!

Proving that two heads are better than one, Eurobrick members Rufus and Pandora have collaborated to build a replica of Sir Francis Drake's ship, The Golden Hinde.  Highlights include the color choices, the excellent shaping using both pre-fabricated hulls and bricks, the custom made sails, the functional custom rigging, the brick-built sea life, the tiled deck and the dramatic stern with many excellent details.  If you want to see this beauty in person, Rufus and Pandora say it will be making an appearance at Brickworld Chicago in less than a month!

Mini Queen Anne's Revenge

A mini Queen Anne's Revenge

At first glance one might think that this vessel is a full size Lego pirate ship, complete with a crew and rowboat. Upon closer inspection one will find that this is actually a miniaturized version of Captain Blackbeard's beloved ship seen in the film Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The custom sails and rigging, intricately placed details, and stylish yet simple base make this mini ship something everyone would love to display on a shelf, even Blackbeard himself. Bidea certainly has an eye for building miniature ships.

Grim Reaper by Morthen P

As black as the Black Pearl and just as scary!

Fear is always a very important element when it comes to sea battles. Another one is a strong broadside. This ship has both features. The Grim Reaper by MOCpages member Morthen P is both fearsome and well-armed. Gunport hatches and stern details are interesting as well!

Eastern Pirate Junk

An Eastern Pirate Junk

Eastern pirates aren't something as commonly seen here on Classic-Pirates.com, so it is very refreshing to see a Pirate junk ship built by user Bjornu. In making this vessel he also introduces a new faction of eastern pirates. The unique red sails, eastern pirate crew, and lavish details on this vessel help make it stand out as a unique pirate creation.

Lego Motorized Ghost Ship

A motorized Lego ghost ship.

What happens when Lego Technic and Pirates clash? It seems we’ve just found out. Combining the power of Technic and Pirates, Sariel has built a motorized pirate ship that actually moves around. This lavishly spooky vessel also features some lovely details such as the crew getting into ghoulish mishaps and dark accents that personify this vessel as a ghost ship. It is certainly a vessel that many a sea fairing men would surely fear.

LEGO Pirate CUUSOO Flying Dutchman Sebeus Iniwum

Can WE taste the triple guns?

LEGO has released a version of the Black Pearl and the Queen Anne's Revenge but no Flying Dutchman.  With LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean™ seemingly on its way out, it appears we may never get a Flying Dutchman and there is nothing we can do about that.  Or is there?  Not long ago Eurobricks' member Sebeus Iniwum showed off his version of the Flying Dutchman and now his project is on CUUSOO.  If you have not heard about CUUSOO, it is a site where LEGO fans can post their ideas.  If an idea gets 10,000 supporters it will be reviewed by LEGO for a chance to become an official LEGO product!  If you want a Flying Dutchman, support his project on CUUSOO.

Go vote on CUUSOO and be sure to discuss the Flying Dutchman or the status of LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean in the forum now.
