Nail their gizzards to the yardarm! by SlyOwl

Using chairs for the gunports!

Hold Fast! These ships are fighting in a freezing gale! High brickwaves are smashing against the sides and the stern is on fire! Eurobricks member SlyOwl has made a fantastic scene with two large ships, custom sails/rigging and a lot of action. Don't hesitate, visit the Pirate MOCs forum!

The Royal Navy Command Ship, a LEGO MOC by Thoy Bradley

A fine vessel!

And here's one more MOC from Flickr user Thoy Bradley... This time it's a ship - and it's a pretty big one, not to mention its beautiful design! You'd better not miss it!

Caribbean Clipper MOC by Warspite03

Capable of taking on any pirate ship, including the Imperial Flagship!

Well, actually it's more like a MOD, with elements borrowed from the best classical LEGO ships, like the Caribbean Clipper and the Black Seas Barracuda. It has a nice colourscheme, a modular stern and a fine crew. Overall a very decent ship.

LEGO Pirate Flying Dutchman MOC Sebeus Iniwum

Is this ship worth 99 souls?

LEGO delivered the Black Pearl and the Queen Anne's Revenge,  but Eurobricks MOC Expert Sebeus Iniwum delivered "the goods" with his rendition of the Flying Dutchman.  Where to begin with this beauty?  The size?  The great coloration?  The details like the stern decorations, the Kracken's capstan or Davy Jones's Organ?  The bow with the triple guns?  The great shape of the brick-built hull?  Just click the link and look at them all!

Let them taste the triple guns then discuss Flying Dutchman in the forum.

Farore's Wind by Sebeus Iniwum

An impressive new ship for the Bluecoat fleet!

Eurobricks member Sebeus Iniwum has made a fantastic new update on his ship Din's Fire, which is now called Farore's Wind. New features are among other things a third mast, electric light and a slightly different colourscheme. Also notice the new figurehead.

HMS Beagle

The ship that circumnavigated the globe between 1831 and 1836.

The famous ship on which a young Charles Darwin became inspired for his theory of evolution, has now been made in LDD! As far as I know it's the best LEGO model of this ship so far. Especially the deck details can be very inspirational for other ships. And of course it's nice to have a small virtual tour on this vessel.

Junk Ship by SI-mocs

Sunday, March 18th, 2012

See what SI-mocs has in his trunk.

One man's junk is another man's treasure.

Not all pirates live in the Caribbean, and your Eurobricks wiz (and proud Canadian) SI-mocs shows off this junk ship.  SI-mocs says he really wanted to try a brick-built hull for this build, and his efforts really paid off.  The roof on the ship's cabin and the well placed gold accents are also highlights.  Head to the forum and find out if what the ladies say about SI-mocs is true, that he has junk in his trunk!

Thunderchild Redux!

Small, but very decent!

And yet another ship is ready to sail the oceans! It's the Thunderchild by Cousarmy0001. Recent adjustments have proved very useful, making the armament go from 10 to 14 guns (or actually, gunports), and adding a figurehead. So now the ship has a personality, firepower, and the sails have also been added.

Flying Dutchman WIP

Notice those stern galleries!

After a long period of adjusting, re-adjusting, improving and refining the hull of this Flying Dutchman, it's almost finished. And it's beautiful, and very close to the "real" ship from the movie. It sure looks equally impressive!
