HMS Borea WIP by Captain K.

One sail is enough to participate in combat!

It may still be a WIP, but the sloop of war HMS Borea is already looking very impressive! It has a good colourscheme, some nice details on the deck and a very experienced crew. And do you think that Captain K. has forgotten an important feature? Then don't hesitate to share thoughts with him and your idea might actually be added to this -already- very fine vessel! Want to see more of this ship? Then here's what to do:

The Pingue, it'll smuggle you

Pingue, small ship, big masts

She may be small, but the Pingue has plenty of masts, which equals plenty of speed.  Although small, this ship packs some details, and maybe a canon or two.  Be sure to check out it's evolution in the Pirate Forum.

Prince Egbert's Pleasure Yacht, a Lego ship built by Hinckley

It's not a warship!

Take a look at this old, but not previously blogged on and truly eye-catching vessel. This Pleasure Yacht was built by Eurobricks member and admin Hinckley in 2007 and really deserves its place in our blog.

Note the amazing figurehead as well as the huge and detailed sterncastle. This creation has a backstory of its own so make sure to check it out as well!

The Captain's Quarters

A great place to be for a Captain!

Captain Thomas Foolery shows us his personal quarters, and what kind of place is it! It must be the place to be for every pirate. A large waterbed filled with wenches, tons of treasure around, too many rum to speak of and don't forget all those trophies!

A 20 cannon monster ship!

The Hellbound Heart

Something you do not want to see on the Ocean if you are not a Pirate is the Hellbound Heart.  With 20 canons and it's massive size, you will hardly stand a chance against her.  The entire side of this ship opens up to show the interior, a site you must see for yourself. Many hours went into creating this ship.

The Supply Tender Ratsee - a Lego creation by Legeaux

The Supply Tender Ratsee

Today is the time to show you another Pirate Lego creation which is not so new, but great and has not previously been featured on It's the fabulous supply tender Ratsée built by Mr. Richie Dulin aka Legeaux.

The hull of this beautiful vessel is partially customised - it uses a white center section which was painted grey. The sails are obviously customs too.

You have to admit that the ship's colour scheme is really quite eye-catching.

The Phoenician tradeship

The Phoenician trade ship

Sometimes power isn't needed as much as speed.  When trade is your, well trade, a trade ship is the best bet for cruising through the Caribbean.  Kerntechniker has brought us The Phoenician trade ship.  It may be small in size but with plenty of space on board for crew and treasure, this is one Pirate ship that you may just miss as it steals your bounty and sails off before you know it.

Updated HMS Leopard!

Captain K. had been updating his splendid vessel the HMS Leopard, for the better! A powerful looking ship is the result, still on the prefab ship hulls! You don't see much 60 gun ships on them. With a nice rigging this ship is surely worth to take a look at!
