General Armendariz, the brickflick genius pressed into the Classic-Pirates.com crew, has treated us with another oscar-winning motion picture: Shipyard Shenanigans, Episode One: "Last words, either way." It tells the humorous story of a man's last words as his ship crumbles into the sea - but I won't spoil the surprise; be sure to grab some popcorn, turn off the lights, and switch on the show!
You may notice many familiar faces starring in the flick, Captain Zuloo, Mister Phes, and Captain Blackmoor among them. Some viewers may wonder, "What is this Shipyard Shenanigans?" Well, we have the same question for you! Sail by the Classic-Pirates.com forum and tell Armendariz your thoughts and opinions.
Who's up for another round of promotions? Wouwie and Skipper24 have certainly been doing more than their fair share of work around Classic-Pirates.com, so we decided it only fair to offer them promotions! So now their ranks are as follows:
Wouwie - Senior Editor
Skipper24 - News Editor
As well as these special ranks, there are special contests run for Classic-Pirates.com workers in a hidden forum called 'The Shipyard' to reward all our volunteers for their hard efforts! If you're interested in becoming part of the team and feel that you could meet requirements to either do Web Design, Graphic Design or Video Editing, then keep a sharp eye out on the horizon for a vacant position in the Pirate Forum!
A team of people, dedicated pirate fans, work together from all over the world all day, every day to bring you the daily news on the brilliant site we have come to know as Classic-Pirates.com. To reward these amazing volunteers for all their hard efforts, we have created the Shipyard Ranking System. This allows our volunteers to aquire special abilities in the VIP subforum, The Shipyard.
Two of our volunteers have performed exeptionally well recently, and so we have decided they deserve some repayment for all their hard work. It is now time to congratulate them on their recent promotions - Erdbeereis to News Editor, and Captain Zuloo to Senior News Editor.
We're pleased to announce Wouwie has been promoted to Editor so hurry over
to the Pirate forum to congratulate for his achievement!
We're also opening up two new positions:
A Junior Assistant to maintain our Social Networking Outposts such as our soon to be launched YouTube Channel and Facebook page, as well as, doing some light secretarial work. This position could one day lead to Publication Relations Officier for a candidate with the right aptitude.
For many months now a team of dedicated volunteers have been working within The Shipyard to produce the content which appears daily on the frontpage of Classic-Pirates.com.
"The Shipyard?" you ask? The Shipyard is a hidden VIP sub-forum within the LEGO Pirates Forum where volunteers work on special projects.
We want to begin rewarding our volunteers for their contributions so we're implementing a ranking system which enables them to receive promotions for the quality and quantity of their contributions. Each rank has it's own tag and special priveleges which increase with each rank. There will also be contests exclusive to The Shipyard so only those who are part of the Ranking System will be able to participate.
