The pirates travel the desert in search of water.
It isn't every day you see a band of pirates in the middle of a dry desert. Petronel tells the story of a group of pirates in search of the world's purest water. The landscaping, architecture, and pirate crew are worthy of note when discussing the great details on this awesome LEGO creation.

Look out Bluecoats!
What's better than one average sized Redcoat? Well a Bluecoat might say a dead one is better, but one might also say that a big Redcoat is better. Kerntechniker has sculpted this towering colossus of a Redcoat. The height, shaping, and details on this statue are great.

Work from Home
Lighthouses crop up a lot in the pirates theme, but it's not so common to see a whole little scene built up for it. Instead of just having a stone building on a rock island, BardJaskier has created a great little scene here with some surprising details and a very nice lighthouse too!

Don't look back!
Evildead depicts a giant squid chasing after a light snack. The poor pirate seems to be in quite a panic. The details on the squid are great, and the water technique is unique and different from what is usually seen when depicting water in Lego form.

A Map Vendor and his cart
Flickr user KadasBence recently built this splendid little cart for a map vendor. This scurvy salesman goes about selling maps to fellow pirates who are in need of instructions to a specific location, whether it leads them to some buried treasure or the nearest drinking tavern. The lovely little details make this cart and minifigure superb, and the whole style feels reminiscent of LEGO's Classic Pirates theme.
Buy a map, and then discuss the Map Vendor in the forum.

A Tiny Big Scene
The first thing to catch my eye was the use of microfigures which drew me in deeper, and that's when I noticed all the great stuff here. A whole port built on a 16x32 baseplate (plus a little overhang) and the ocean side the same size with a great little ship. The dock itself is my favorite part and it looks perfect for the microfigure world, but there are lots of little details to see like the buildings and the ship.

An Eastern Pirate Junk
Eastern pirates aren't something as commonly seen here on Classic-Pirates.com, so it is very refreshing to see a Pirate junk ship built by user Bjornu. In making this vessel he also introduces a new faction of eastern pirates. The unique red sails, eastern pirate crew, and lavish details on this vessel help make it stand out as a unique pirate creation.
