The London Carriage Chase

I hear a rumor... Jack Sparrow is in London

Conveying such an action-packed scene as the Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides London Carriage Chase in still images with LEGO might seem impossible. However, swash buckler found a way to do it marvelously. The whole scene has been set up and created with such attention to detail that I can almost hear the sounds and the music from the film. He also took the time to move Jack around for photos so we could see his progress through the scene.

Lego Motorized Ghost Ship

A motorized Lego ghost ship.

What happens when Lego Technic and Pirates clash? It seems we’ve just found out. Combining the power of Technic and Pirates, Sariel has built a motorized pirate ship that actually moves around. This lavishly spooky vessel also features some lovely details such as the crew getting into ghoulish mishaps and dark accents that personify this vessel as a ghost ship. It is certainly a vessel that many a sea fairing men would surely fear.

Technic elements have a new home!

We have been blessed with many beautiful ship models over the years on Classic-Pirates.com, and now our forum is starting to see some awesome "functional" designs from our members.  Sebeus Iniwum strikes again with these recoiling cannons using technic springs and beams to create the realistic looking action.  Head to the forum to check out a video (complete with sound!) of the firing action!

Black Rock Tower

The Tower at Black Rock

Flickr user JimKeepers recently constructed this unique scene. A small pirate band of misfits row toward a tall watch tower encrusted against a rocky black shore. The water, tower, and black rocks help make this small diorama eye catching and worth a look.

Davy Jones' locker, a LEGO MOC by /TheBricks\

This locker is quite messy...

Check out yet another fine MOC from Flickr user /TheBricks\. Not a typical Pirate creation that one would expect, but you must agree that it's quite an interesting approach to the subject of the infamous Davy Jones' locker.

Renders of Flying Dutchman - the ship designed by bricktrix for Pirates of the Caribbean game

Breathtaking!

Carl Greatrix, also known as bricktrix, is a designer working on LEGO computer games. Recently he uploaded rendered images of the Flying Dutchman, a ship that he designed for the Pirates of the Caribbean computer game. It's not made with real bricks, but it's simply stunning anyway! Take a look at this beauty!

lego pirates cupcakes islanders tree cakes eating desolated

Tasty cupcakes with some delicious foliage!

Flickr member MrPoopie had the original idea of making Pirate islands out of cupcakes. The islands don't seem very isolated from each other, and they look both cute and tasty. The Pirates should be having a great time over there. Starvation won't be a problem!
