It’s not that often that we see a good Pirate video game in our community, so it’s nice when someone like TinyPiesRUs shares with us a new computer game set in Napoleonic times – Empire: Total War. The game is set to be released March 2009, and promises great ship designs and awesome graphics!

The 2009 LEGO Pirate line has brought us a hot topic of discussion. Is the same map used by the Indiana Jones line appropriate for a heavily water-based theme like Pirates? Or is it way off? Or do you prefer the older, more traditional Classic Pirate map?

Logbo wasn’t quite satisfied with the range of sails provided by LEGO®, so he decided to make his own. It’s always nice to see some custom sails, but these are extraordinary! With a brilliantly stunning white and red Imperial pattern and a dark and forbidding Pirate insignia, these sails would fit nicely onto an ship!
