Marvellous!
This lovely seashore with a waterfall was built by Brickshelf user rdennis81 (full name Ryan Dennis). As you can see, it’s a really, really big MOC, and it also includes a cave, a mine, and you can even take a peek at what goes on under the water surface. It’s definitely a good scenery for some pirate action!

First building of a new town
Classic-Pirates.com user Corioso presents his latest MOC – Church of the Holy Spirit, which is going to be a part of an all-new Caribbean town he’s planning to build. So far the project looks very promising, wouldn’t you agree?

Wilson... WILSON!!
Eurobricks member Flare dazzles us with this incredibly detailed creation of a castaway’s island built for MOCpages’ MocAthalon. There are so many details to check out, it is hard to know where to begin. There are the rocks with evidence of the ship wreck, the brick built banana tree, the treasure cave, the stored supplies the castaway must have been able to salvage, the S.O.S on the beach, the islander’s idol, the remains of other castaways who weren’t as luck, and even a hidden interloper in a barrel!
Signal your S.O.S then discuss Castaway Island in the forum.

Redbeard's Cove by maedhros1980's
This lovely classical pirate scene was found by our News Scout SirSven7. It’s full of ship elements, there’s a nice rock technique and there are a lot of typicial pirate scenes going on like drinking, fishing and fighting. Yo-ho-ho! Check it out in the Pirates LEGO forum!

The ship that circumnavigated the globe between 1831 and 1836.
The famous ship on which a young Charles Darwin became inspired for his theory of evolution, has now been made in LDD! As far as I know it’s the best LEGO model of this ship so far. Especially the deck details can be very inspirational for other ships. And of course it’s nice to have a small virtual tour on this vessel.

One man's junk is another man's treasure.
Not all pirates live in the Caribbean, and your Eurobricks wiz (and proud Canadian) SI-mocs shows off this junk ship. SI-mocs says he really wanted to try a brick-built hull for this build, and his efforts really paid off. The roof on the ship’s cabin and the well placed gold accents are also highlights. Head to the forum and find out if what the ladies say about SI-mocs is true, that he has junk in his trunk!

Simply stunning!
Check out this amazing giant MOC built by MOCpages user Brian Abildgaard. There’s so much going on in here that it’s virtually impossible to describe it, so there’s no point in even trying. Just follow the link and see more pictures of this outstanding LEGO creation!

He probably floated for days
Captain Beerbeard brings us an unfortunate scene of a Pirate lost without a paddle. The water technique is really well done and you can tell it took time, judging from all those clear pieces. A great scene that would fit perfectly in any Pirate story.

Small, but very decent!
And yet another ship is ready to sail the oceans! It’s the Thunderchild by Cousarmy0001. Recent adjustments have proved very useful, making the armament go from 10 to 14 guns (or actually, gunports), and adding a figurehead. So now the ship has a personality, firepower, and the sails have also been added.

Notice those stern galleries!
After a long period of adjusting, re-adjusting, improving and refining the hull of this Flying Dutchman, it’s almost finished. And it’s beautiful, and very close to the “real” ship from the movie. It sure looks equally impressive!

"You've seen a ship with black sails that's crewed by the damned, and captained by a man so evil that Hell itself spat him back out?"
Our newest news scout has found a great version of the infamous Black Pearl made by MOC Pages member Benjamin Kobold. A few well placed splashes of color keep this ship from looking like a black blob and if you dig deeper into the pictures, there are many fine details to find. Head to the forum for more pictures and then discuss your favorite part, whether it be the custom rigging, the figure head, the cabin, the anchors, the brick built hull, the sails, the lanterns the ship’s wheel…
Find all the cursed Aztec gold, then discuss Black Pearl in the forum.

Beware of this pirate vessel!
Classic-Pirates.com user Yawgmoth has recently posted his latest MOC – The Crimson Skull. This mighty pirate ship looks a bit like an extremely upgraded 6289 Red Beard Runner, and was in fact built using bricks from three of those sets. It has a lot of cool features and what seems to be a great play value!
