Gators Must Like Wine
It doesn’t take a lot of brick to build an interesting scene. Thoy Bradley has done a great job here showing the dynamic water of the river as the captain escapes from a crocodile with his precious wine. I really like all the vegetation along the river banks and the water bubbles give a great sense of movement and direction.

Islanders doing their Islander thing.
Our very own Sebeus I recently built some lovely little Islander creations. These were originally intended to make up a bigger diorama, but the project was never finished. The rocks that Sebeus I constructed are very impressive and offer a very interesting level of detail and shape. How did he do it you ask?

SNOT star!
I do not normally go for digital LEGO models but this modular fortress, designed by Eurobricks member Skipper, is a must see. Though the shapes are awesome, I am most drawn to the studs not on top techniques used to create them.

Living is Better Than Sinking
Another wonderful creation from V&A Steamworks, this little town is full of detail. Turning a ship into a home is not easy, turning it into three homes is amazing. There’s some great SNOT work here, and a few little scenes happening.

Don't look back!
Evildead depicts a giant squid chasing after a light snack. The poor pirate seems to be in quite a panic. The details on the squid are great, and the water technique is unique and different from what is usually seen when depicting water in Lego form.

A small part of the impressive ship.
What to say? This is an extremely realistic 64-gun ship of the line with a huge lot of new techniques. A must see!

Now with RC cannons!
Morthen’s Golden Whale shows off a brilliant gold and red color scheme. However this vessel isn’t just nice to look at, but it also features working remote controlled cannons! Perfect for taking on Pirates who are up for a watery battle. Be sure to check out the video in the forum of the cannons in action.
Fire at will, and then discuss the Golden Whale in the forum.

One of very few MOC's with a soldier doing the laundry.
On tropical island somewhere in the caribbean is a beautiful small outpost. The apples, animal and laundry make the scene look quite realistic. This effect is also enlarged by the variety of plants. Not much is known about the builder’s ideas about this, but there seem to be plans for a larger piratical building.

A Mighty Home on the Sand
The story behind this ship is as interesting as the ship itself. The shipwreck became the home of a poor ex Imperial Officer, though she isn’t seaworthy any more, she made a fine home for him. There is so much detail in such a small space it amazes me. Using the rock formation as a natural stair case, keeping the look of the ship while adding a “front yard” for the tiny house, and the plants turning the old mast into a tree again, are all some really great details not to be missed. You’ll want to check the thread to see the large photos and some great part usage as well as read the whole story behind the project.

Beautifully Done!
I love a good Napoleonic army builder and michaelozzie has delivered 3 regiments fighting under Marshal Ney in 1805. The figures have great detail and the custom pieces (some from woody64) look fantastic- michaelozzie even gives us a little history lesson on his choices for the regiment details!
