Floating around the forum lately has been this beautiful scene, The Courtroom from the 18th Century. It was created by user Dzoni90 and his brother. The statues in this scene are very fun, as is the second level with all the onlookers. It’s a perfect use of the Collectible Minifigure Series 9 Judge, but there’s also some other great uses of minifigures from the past.
Head on over to the forum to discuss and view more pics of The Courtroom from the 18th Century

Sebeus, Classic-Pirates’ resident shipbuilder extraordinaire, has posted this very funny and not at all wildly anachronistic comic in honour of his latest MOC. Guest-starring some of CP’s best and brightest, this comic features everything from life jackets to pizza to arguments about people not looking like their sig figs… Oh, and there’s something about a ship in there as well.

Ben King presented his latest creation, an amazing LEGO Pirates MOC! It has some wonderful details like the excellent rock work, palm trees, great foliage, and nice water.
Sail on over to the LEGO Pirates Forum and comment on Lush Island Stash by Ben King!
Ben King writes:
I made this pirate diorama for a LEGO contest my local museum was hosting. I’ve really wanted to get back into pirate mocs because they’re always so much fun to build and they’re what brought me to the online LEGO community. There’s not much to say about this other than I built it in about a week, and my favorite part is definitely the rock work. As always I’m trying to improve that. As you can see as well, I included my Sig-fig in there, see if you can spot him (if you can’t you might need glasses, it’s pretty easy to find). Lastly, I will be going to Brickworld Chicago on Saturday June 14, so I look forward to hopefully seeing lots of you guys there. Unfortunately I won’t be displaying this year… but I’m really hoping for next year, and I’ll still be there checking out all the cools creations.

Pirate MOCer Captain Braunsfeld has presented another great creation! In this town garrisoned by the Imperial Guards, who you can see go about their daily lives (which involves a lot of drinking) while Pirates sneak past the defenses, Ninja Turtle style (I.e. through the sewer) most likely to get their hands on those glorious shrooms! It is built on a raised baseplate, features excellent buildings, and has many play features. Definitely worth feasting your eyes upon!
Stop by the LEGO Pirates forum and comment on Harbour Town by Captain Braunsfeld!
Captain Braunsfeld Writes:
Ahoy,
I was interested in building a harbour scene using a good old raised baseplate.
Unfortunately you cannot see a lot of the harbour but for some bits of water in the middle, but I am quite happy with the way the buildings have turned out.

Disco86 has built this sterling diorama of a blue coat soldier fort, with its own ship to boot! Inspired by such sets as 6276 Eldorado Fortress and 6280 Armada Flagship, this build features some neat interior scenes, some creative use of masonry bricks, and even a seagull or two!
Share your thoughts on Imperial Fort in the LEGO Pirates forum!

Disco86 Writes:
This model was built for the Store Showcase in Wiesbaden (Germany). I decided to build a new theme, and because I always favor to build themes from my childhood I think it was time for some Pirates. But I am also a castle builder and I found these blue-jacket soldiers in the stores figure box, so I wanted to build anything that was like the old Imperial Soldiers sets. I got my inspiration from the sets “Eldorado Fortress” (6276) and the “Armada Flagship” (6280).
Building time: 70 hours
Bricks: 24.000

About the Builder…
Disco86 (aka Paul Trach) is one of those builders whose talent is not restricted to any one particular genre. While he has a fondness for Space and Castle (with detours through and Middle Earth), he can easily turn his hand towards other themes and execute equally impressive builds. It’s well worth your time browsing through his Flickr Stream so prepared to be amazed by more of his skilled creations.

Eurobrick member LtFlacon has completed his first MOC and has uploaded some images for us to take a gander at. While the name of the ship is still a work in progress, he’s tentatively named it Halia. Some good effort went into making this ship, as it has all the necessities of a ship on par with something TLG would release themselves. The crew is also very diverse as it sports a great collection of new parts and some from different pirate eras, they all work together very well.
