And wouldn’t yer know it – there ain’t no traditionally classically piratey submissions up for the vote.
So let’s see what we can scrounge up…
Submissions
Fans have been hopeful for a 6265 Sabre Island remake ever since it topped a Brickset poll asking “Which classic set should be re-imagined for a gift-with-purchase?”
Definitely should be considered as a Gift With Purchase
Some speculated such a release may coincide with 10320 Eldorado Fortress, given blue coat Soldier parts were being churned out of the factory at the time.
But alas, nay! And despite the Twist of Nostalgia Challenge attracting some fine Sabre Island re-imaginings, still nada!
So what booty be left in our grasp?
“Sea Serpent” by HallowedBrick02
Not even a re-imagined LEGO Pirate set! This submission be inspired by 6057 Sea Serpent from the Castle theme.
Fans wished the LEGO Pirates theme had more small ships like this
Jagamax writes:
The Black Knights return in this rebooted 6057 Sea Serpent. This reimagination features new functionality with workable rudders, a cargo hold below deck, and a modular stern, allowing for safer storage of high-value cargo.
Pirates. One of the most nostalgic themes for most people and I included. I knew I had to make something from that and thinking back at my childhood. That treasure chest always came to mind.
So here it is. Up-scaled!
I hope to bring back the memories of fighting off those scallywags and finding the buried treasure from our younger days!
Beyond any specific set, I think my favorite childhood memory was discovering LEGO 🌟
I remember walking past toy stores, especially the LEGO Store, hoping to get a set for Christmas, after all my friends had told me about those colorful little bricks ! 🤗
[…] I also have faint memories of trains, ships, and knights that helped me create all kinds of stories around him ! 🤩

“The AMBER WIND” takes its name from the ship’s vivid red and bright light orange sails—echoing the warmth of a golden breeze at sunset.
It is an ode to freedom, life, and adventure beyond borders.
Now that’s how to do execute brick-built sails!
It began with our musician. She played a tune from an island tribe—eerie, almost too perfect.
Then the captain brought out an old golden map—found years ago in a knight’s tomb.
Parts: 3,390 | Minifigures: 9 | Stickers: 5 Length: 43.3cm / 12.9 in | Height: 34.5 cm / 13.6 in | Width: 43.3cm / 17.1in
In the lawless expanse of the open sea, where loyalties shift with the tide and fortune favors only the ruthless, one establishment stands firm: the Pirate Treasury — a beacon of order in an ocean of chaos.
Burying treasure on desert islands is so old fashioned
brickhucker writes:
The treasury is ruled by two iron wills:
The Treasury Warden, a towering sentinel of steel and suspicion. His gaze is judgment. His word, law.
And the Madam of Coin, keeper of the ledgers and the true weight behind the wealth. Her reputation stretches further than any ship’s sail — for while the Warden inspires fear, it’s the Madam who exacts cost.
The Imperial soldiers of the red and blue factions have decided to join forces to finally catch the pirates of the legendary ship Skull Renegades, that is plundering the seas.
Support this one and you get a fleet

These medium-sized ships are primarily intended for playing rather than collecting dust on a shelf.
The Red Knight was originally built in July 1777 as HMS Vestal, a Sphinx-class post ship (also known as a sixth-rate ship). While sailing off the coast of Newfoundland later that same year, Vestal encountered a violent gale and was said to have sank…

The Red Knight is composed of 3,950 pieces and replicates closely a Sphinx-class post ship. She is armed with ten 24-pound guns and has a crew of nine (plus Skelly, the skeleton) as well as a cat, mouse, pig, and parrot.
The five bastions would house things to keep safe and a means to keep their contents safe: strong sloped walls with a cannon on top, excellent firing angles along the walls and sleeping quarters, storage, treasury or armory inside.
The ultimate defense configuration

I wanted to try and build something special, but accessible for everyone. Something appealing to many, but also something that could keep myself busy for hours by giving me a big challenge right away.
“Breezy Beth sailing on the Little Scallywag” by mbg42
Parts: 1,083 | Minifigures: 1 | Stickers: 1
All aboard the Little Scallywag! This charming pirate ship is home to Breezy Beth, the somewhat headstrong but warm-hearted captain.
The cutest little cutthroat you ever did see!
mbg42 writes:
This model was inspired by an idea from my 6-year-old son, who built a wonderful, adorable little ship and, while playing, invented a story about a young pirate girl.
The legend goes that no one has ever escaped this prison. Not a single soul has managed to break free from the confines of this mysterious stronghold…
Escape this yer dirty rotten scallywags!
DelusionB:
My love for the Imperial forces and a deep fascination with the legends of the most notorious pirates of the age led me to design something never before seen—a prison, built specifically to hold the most infamous of the pirate world.
Madriguera is the home of the outcasts. Magriguera is family. Everyone knows their roles. Rum flows abundantly in the bar.
To the bar!
One_eyeChristos writes:
The reason for this project was my endless hours of playing as a child with all those aesthetically unsurpassed classic lego pirate sets from almost four decades ago. Now as an adult, I wanted to present something that stemmed from all that atmosphere of my childhood.
The Broadside Brawl offers two small vessels, each with a unique hull design. Note the pleasantly curved hulls, brickbuilt sails/cannons, working rudders.
The king’s soldiers have finally returned with their new outpost built in the heart of the Caribbean Sea. With their ship, Admiral Grenado is ready to explore the nearby islands in search of treasure.

With its strong walls and strategic defenses, Coconut Cape serves as a guardian of the ocean, deterring pirates and ensuring the safety of the surrounding trade routes.

Coconut cape is back for series 8! I’ve made several structural improvements which make the model much more stable and reduces the part count close to 100 pieces from its series 5 predecessor while maintaining the original look of the fort.
The Wolf Pirates are led by a fearsome leader by the name of Captain Fang. He is accompanied by his two dogs Remus and Romulus and his first-mate Coral Seaweed.

Nestled within the cliffs of Libertalia, the pirate fortress stands as a symbol of rebellion and freedom. Made of solid stone, it’s a place of defiance against the empires of the world.
The flag is flying high – somewhere
The fortress is more than a home – it’s a base for their freedom, a place where their flag will always fly high over the seas, defying any empire that dares to challenge them.
As the sunsets over Port Royal, the shipyard hums with the promise of new adventures on the horizon. This is not just a place of work, it’s a birth place of legends.
Well, the Imperial Guards have to build their ships somewhere
DelusionB writes:
My effort to design a new Imperial set led me to come up with an idea for a shipyard set, something that has not existed until today. The set is anarchitectural corner-type shipyard for the Red imperial soldiers!
