Now lonely, here forever I stay...

Talon Karrde presents us with yet another truly amazing LEGO® creation! He has a reputation of great MOCs, and this one, entitled 'Forgotten Soldier', is no exception. As a test of tiled water rather than the more common SNOT variety, Mister Karrde has used many an unusual technique and in equaly unusual ways!

But don't take our word for it, head to see Forgotten Soldier by Talon Karrde for yourself in the pirate forum!

Charyblantis by SlyOwl

Monday, March 23rd, 2009

Battling a mighty whirlpool and then finding yourself in an underwater paradise filled with riches galore. Sounds great - well, at least that's what the scurvy crew of a small vessel thought. However when they tried to take the riches of  Charyblantis, they soon found themselves having to escape from pretty angry undersea beasts.

Yargh, there be treasure under the sea!

 SlyOwl delivers us another outstanding MOC. Jam packed with hidden treasure, the aquatic city of Charyblantis is certainly an awe inspiring creaton. Filled with details and undersea warriors, the MOC is split in two, a top section and an underwater section. Both house great building skills and techniques. The interesting name as some of you may have guessed derives from Charybdis, a whirlpool in Greek mythology, and Atlantis.

Georgio’s Isle by Paul cantu

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009

A strange island cropped in the LEGO® Caribbean. Below lies the wreckage of a mighty vessel now laying waste to animals and plants that may want to use it as their new home. However, it also sports a tree house built high up to be used as a resting place for weary travellers or even a hide out for bandits, either way it is welcoming and a friendly place.

Lying on tope of the wrekage of a mighty ship the multileveled island is somewhat unstable.

Lying on top of the wreckage of a mighty ship the multilevelled island is somewhat unstable.

Paul cantu has created for us a amazing multilevelled island resting on top of supportive pillars. A long lost ship is now home to many creatures who feed off the remains of what was left on board...

"WRECK OF THE HESPERUS"
It was the schooner Hesperus,
That sailed the wintery sea;
And the skipper had taken his little daughter,
To bear him company...

...At daybreak, on the bleak sea-beach,
A fisherman stood aghast,
To see the form of a maiden fair,
Lashed close to a drifting mast.

The salt sea was frozen on her breast,
The salt tears in her eyes;
And he saw her hair, like the brown sea-weed,
On the billows fall and rise.

Such was the wreck of the Hesperus,
In the midnight and the snow!
Christ save us all from a death like this,
On the reef of Norman's Woe!

RichardAM - Sharkbait

After being taken prisoner by the feared pirate Captain Redbrick, Mary Ellis was living a life of torture, humiliation and fear. Tied to the mast of his boat the Blue Neptune, Mary Ellis longed for rescue, and hoped, somehow that she could escape unharmed.

After an intense battle with the Imperial Guard several weeks later, The Blue Neptune was left severely damaged, and with the egos and pride of the crew diminsed, they hastily made their escape.

Mary Ellis on the other hand, was forgotten about entirely...
