Broadside - Captains Cabin Contest Entry

Broadside - Captain's Cabin Contest Entry

“This entry is called “The Lt’s Mercy” It shows Lt. de Martient showing mercy on three pirates that he found drunk in a battle cabin on one of the ships he was raiding [note a battle cabin is a cabin on a ship that has been modified to fire cannons plus accommodate a small number of pirates/crew. At one exception, he and the soldiers decide to take a little booty home with them….”

This is obviously a ship’s kitchen. The crew has never done much cleaning. The chef is fighting back a monster sticking it’s tentacle out of the sink. His peg legged assistant is slipping on a spilled puddle of left over soup, as the oven is bursting with fire from the over cooked pizzas.

Dr. Steve - The Spoils of War

Dr. Steve - The Spoils of War

“This MOC is all about the spoils of Victory, Plenty of Food, Drink, Women and Treasure.

I did not have time to come up any detailed furniture etc… (and after seeing the other entries I could not have come close to the detail that oo7, I Scream Clone and others have done- Amazing Detail!)

But this did give me an excuse to use the treasure I have been collecting over the past few years and have a little fun with this MOC.

The thing I like the most is the Picture of the Capt. I used the sticker from his wanted poster from the “Soldier’s Fort” set.”

Captain’s Cabin Contest Entry: Erdbeereis

Monday, April 6th, 2009

Sailing aboard the Flying Jockey are the crew of scallywags known as the Bare-Chested Bandits…. They are known for their fondness for wearing nothing but skimpy trousers, exposing the thick, muscular and rather smelly flesh of their rugged torsos.

Captain Boxer enjoys hiding out in his cabin along with his shrunken head collection, letting his crew do most of the pillaging. Underneath the Captain’s desk hides a trapdoor leading down to where all of the action is. Here the BCBs store all of their hard-earned booty, plus the pet monkey Peels and a fair amount of rum…

Captain’s Cabin Contest Entry: ILikeSlugz

2 pirates were sneaking into the room of the pirate ship that holds the treasure, to steal for themselves. And maybe later, mutiny on the captain. Odd though, right when they were picking up a chest, the ship was attacked by their enemies who have a more powerful ship. The only survivors are left to drift into sea.
