Pirates' Island by SlyOwl
Eurobricks member and MOC expert, SlyOwl presents us with his latest master piece, “Pirates’ Island”, an exciting island with lots of crazy stuff for pirates to do. Packed with amazing details such as a swinging rope bridge, a soldier “walking the oar”, an awesome cliff, a Spaniard being “smashed” in the head by a flying cannon ball and a Pirate King counting his booty! This Island is far from boring!
Head over to the MOC forum and discuss Pirates’ Island by SlyOwl!

V3 of the Grandeur is a complete rebuild!
The first time Captain Zuloo first showed us his MOC the ‘Grandeur’, a majestic 28-gun frigate, was early last year. From then it has progressed greatly and has gone through many revisions and total restructures. Now nearly all that is left to complete are the masts and the remaining small details that can ‘make or break’ a MOC. I for one will be following this beautiful ship closely now it’s in the final stages of its build. In the latest update Zuloo has really shown us through his progression how much time and effort it takes to pull off one of these great MOC ships.

Beneath the boat lay the loot of many pillaging missions
After yet another unsuccesfull journey, Captain Horatio and his crew settled in a little town. The Captain fell in love with a young maiden, as a present for her the love struck captain decided to turn his boat into a house where both of them could live till the end of their days. However this was not all there ship would be also a restaurant where they would sell pancakes. Hence the name Stanley Kbrick has chosen for his MOC, ‘Pirate Pancakes’.

Maintaining the Pirate Indexes is a difficult job which uses up valuable time. If you were to only use them occasionally, or not at all, the staff’s efforts to keep them in check would be fruitless. That’s why Mister Phes wants to know if you find them useful – would you prefer that the indexes were to be kept up to date or that the staff embark on other endeavors?
Make your decision in the Pirate forum!

The first Classic-Pirates community build!
Buff up your bricks ye scally-waggs, for today we are here to announce our very first Classic-Pirates.com Community Build!
For all of you who don’t know what a community build is:
A community build is a building challenge open to all EB members. Basically, The staff/volunteers make a list of different buildings that would be in a town back in the late 1700’s. Then, each person chooses a building that they would like to build.
To sum it up, You will be building a pirate era town out of LEGO.
The Rules
1. The build will officially run from January 4th to March 15th.
2. The staff/judges reserve the right to revoke any entry that does not apply to the rules.
3. If you take a spot, tell us, (so you don’t get annoyed when somebody else builds the same thing first).
4. Images no larger than 800 x 600 please, and a maximum of 7 per MOC unless you post smaller images.
5. Registration is open to any member, regardless of number of posts , etc.
6. Try to keep the violence to a minimum.
7. You must enjoy making MOCs (though this is a given) and be able to give, as well as take constructive criticism.
8. No LDD entries are allowed. All entries MUST be built with real bricks.
9. Registration will take place in this thread. Post your entries here, in the entry thread.
Don’t hesitate to ask questions !!!
The Golden Rule of this Community Build: Have fun
