The Imperial Trading Post refinished
The Imperial trading Post is one of the classic Pirates sets that we all know and love. Peter De Yeule has recreated this classic with his own twist. Some say it might be better than the original, I might agree. The details are there if you look for them, I wish TLG would pay as much attention to detail as Peter.

Since our beloved Admiral Zorro (Dieter de Vos) passed away last month, we, the staff and volunteers of Classic-Pirates, would like to honor him with an invitation to all members to create a MOC honoring Zorro. Nice MOC’s will get enough attention and will probably be frontpaged. Zorro rose money for famous contests like Pillage the Village and the Tournament of Retribution II and made some great reviews. His presence will be greatly missed throughout the forums. Please honor him by posting a memorial MOC.
Use this thread for posting your MOC…
…and leave a few words for our Admiral in this one if you haven’t done it yet.

"Oh, the Dauntless is the power in these waters, true enough, but there's no ship as can match the Interceptor for speed."
And yet another seaworthy vessel is ready to sail the oceans! It’s the HMS Interceptor by Eurobricks member pif500. In the movie Pirates of the Caribbean, this ship has the reputation of being the fastest ship of the Royal Navy, so pif500 chose the name wisely. His vessel does indeed seem fast and sturdy.

A great remake of an old classic.
This fantastic new edition of an old classic pirate set is presented to us by Eurobricks member NewRight. His building impresses with a clear Structure but also includes many realistic details. It is inspired by the shape of 6277 Imperial Trading Post.

A room full of stuff, depicting his many adventures.
Barracuda used to be a navy man, but he grew tired and wanted more action. So he engaged a pirate ship and rose to captainhood. As SlyOwl says: “his quarters reflect both his character and past – functional and sturdy, but not lacking in glamour or flamboyance where indulged”.
