Check out those sails!
Eurobricks member lego fox has posted an excellent Lego Digital Designer ship, the Thomas Ledoux! With all those cannon, any pirate would think twice about attacking her. The brick built sails are an especially nice feature.

What lies behind that shipwreck?
Eurobricks member shmails brings us an intriguing Pirate scene. One side has a seemingly-deserted shipwreck…the other has a secret cave where a meeting of the Brethren Court is in progress! This is especially worth checking out for the excellent (all female!) custom minifigures. You can see lots of pictures on flickr here.

Favorite feature of this MOC? Bet you can't name just one!
MOC legend and Flickr member gearcs ventures into the world of pirates with this creation of a small ship sailing through a debris field. Though small, this MOC is packed with details and everyone of them is brick built. Check out the brick built hull, brick built anchor, brick built cannons, brick built sails, brick built turtle, brick built ship’s wheel… Oh, and the ship is cool too.

This ketch is 'da bomb'!
A ketch is a two masted vessel with a large mizzen mast that is set forward of the rudder post. Ketch style ships served as the design bed for bombardment or simply “bomb” vessels that had large forward mounted mortars used to shell enemy coastlines. Eurobrick’s member Corioso breaks from the typical frigate or ship of the line design to show us his bomb ketch. In addition to the diversity this ketch provides, Corioso’s ship also has a great shape, tiled decks, and a pleasing color scheme. Be sure to check out all the photos to “ketch” a shot of the mortar mounted on the front of the ship!

The famous battle of Waterloo
TheBrickAvenger has been recreating famous battles of the past for a few weeks now. Today he brings us the battle of Waterloo fought at the farm of La Haye Sainte. The point of view is great and you really need to look into the details.

The classic returns, new and improved!
New EuroBricks member Storel brings us a great redesign of one of our favorite ships, BrickBeard’s Bounty. Cleverly named BrickBeard’s Bounty II, it has cues from the original but is bigger and better. The improved color scheme and deck space are just a few of the notable improvements.
See more of BrickBeard’s Bounty II in the forum.

A huge and detailed vessel!
Take a good look at this huge ship built by Classic-Pirates.com user De Sandman. He named it Prinses Nikki after his daughter! It took him about three months to build this powerful Dutch vessel. She’s a real beauty!

Don't mess with the bluecoats!
Classic-Pirates.com user Brig. Brick presents his latest MOC – the Bluecoat stronghold. As you can see, it includes a fort, a harbour town, and we even witness two ships arrive at the place! The blue-coated soldiers who we have seen sailing these waters since 1989 now have a new base to plan their attacks against enemies!

An Islander in his native land
Eurobricks member Inconspicuous took a trip to Hawaii, and while there he spent time taking pictures of some LEGO Pirate minifigures in what he calls their “natural habitat”. Check out his Flickr Photostream here for more pictures, including a few with collectable minfigures and Indiana Jones!

Barbossa, Blackbeard, and of course Captain Jack
Flickr member The Incinerator14 brings us a great Vignette of Blackbeard boarding Barbossa’s ship. Like usual Jack is somehow avoiding conflict but probably still winning. Will Barbossa get his revenge?

Can the classic LEGO Ship stand up to the Kraken?
Flickr member MadLEGOMan brings us one of the most recognizable ships in the LEGO line, the Black Seas Barracuda. However today it is not smooth sailing as the legendary ship is under attack by the Kraken. I love seeing this classic ship placed in new scenes, may the memory of the BSB live on, assuming the Kraken doesn’t destroy it.
