An Adventure begins, I'm in!

Captain Bananabreath, the last real Gorilla pirate of the Caribbean, walks into a Tavern and presents a proposal to some local talent. He is looking for a crew, do you accept the offer?  The bar is where I’d be in that Tavern, for the drinks and the awesome build.

Bahamian Rhapsody

Eurobricks History Moderator I Scream Clone brings us an amazing scene of a busy ocean side town. The tile work on the floor alone is worth a jaw dropping awe, that is just one of the many talented building techniques that ISC used. The pictures really tell the story here.

The Black Pearl only bigger and badder

Smitty saw the Black Pearl and said yes, I like that but it’s not big enough. I agree with him. Smitty took the original design and made it bigger and badder than the original. If you ask me this is how the official Black Pearl should have looked. Look for the deck-top battle between two infamous Pirates.

The Sea Sleigh Of Captain Claus, a Pirate LEGO MOC by Azaghal Gabilzaramul

That's a lot of gifts!

Our friend SirSven7 has found this funny little MOC on Flickr, so let’s take a look at it. Granted that Christmas is long gone, but we can pretend for a while that it’s back. It was built by Azaghal Gabilzaramul, who also informs us that: Legend has it that this shark-driven dinghy sails seas the world over in search of treasure, but – the captain and crew will gladly share the loot with those they deem worthy”.

Ugly Berta’s Tavern by Petronel

Ugly Berta's Tavern isn't that ugly

Petronel brings us a fantastic Tavern that is part boat, and part Tavern. This looks lovely from the outside but there is more to see inside. Pull up a stool and have a pint inside.

The Sad Night

It may seem happy with all the parrots and banana trees, but there's sadness under the leaves.

Because this is a Brickshelf find we don’t know anything about the author (Hardegon) except that he makes excellent MOCs. But of course that’s the most important thing for a LEGO forum. The islanders seem to be on their return: another nice islanders MOC was posted a few days ago by Eurobricks member Bjornu. So the subject is a good choice, and the elaboration is great as well, with action, banana trees and a rock with a face.

You call that a fish!

New Euro Bricks member nerowCZ brings us a MOC showing Pirates on their off time. With a fish you might not call a fish, this Fish Prep shack is just the right size. Wait, that’s a fish?!

Captain Ultimo's Refuge - a Pirate LEGO MOC by Pavel

A huge island!

Classic-Pirates.com user Pavel has posted a MOC which, as he describes it, is inspired by his two favourite 1990s LEGO Pirates sets – 6273 Rock Island Refuge and 6279 Skull Island. It’s a big pirate hideout and indeed has a feel of the classic sets we all love.

LEGO Pirate Kraken Attack MOC Ecclesiastes

"It's a mythological creature, I can calls it what I wants!"

How many Krakens can this site possibly post?  We will never reach our limit if they look as good as this Kraken made by Eurobricks member Ecclesiastes.  Ecclesiastes’ Kraken decides it has had enough ship demolition for the day and decides to take the fight to the soldiers’ home.  The obvious highlight here is the Kraken made mostly out of castle helmets, but don’t overlook the cannon made from the helmets either!

Kraken proof your ships, then discuss Kraken Attack by Ecclesiastes in the forum.

House of Pirates, a LEGO MOC by Elena

Seems rather quiet...

Check out this fine MOC from Brickshelf user Elena, brought to our attention by Classic-Pirates.com news scout SirSven7. The place seems rather peaceful for a pirate house, but hey – those guys need some place to relax too!
