Pirates Can Collaborate to Victory!
The Eurobricks collaborative team went with a pirates theme for Brickworld Chicago this year. They blew all other pirate displays out of the water with the creations including 13 ships, 8 islands, a volcano, sea monsters, port town, imperial fort, and working waterfall. Not only did the group display itself win this year at Brickworld 2012 in Chicago, but EuroBricks staff members Pandora and Rufus won Best Small Building for the Pub at the End of the World (part of the collaborative) and Si-MOCs our Eurobrick's Sci Fi Regulator won Build Master. Big Cam took pictures of the layout.

Due to the sad passing of our friend Admiral Zorro we have decided not to proceed with the Seven Seas Contest at this time.
This is a very painful decision given the hundreds of hours that went into the Talking Skull Promotion, but Zorro was instrumental to the operations of the main contest and we must make revisions to proceed without him.
The prizes for the Talking Skull Promotion will be shipped to the winners as planned.
Discuss this further in the LEGO Pirates Forum.

You read that right, you can obtain one of these special blue coat mini figures for free when shopping at your Local Toys R Us toy store.
Here is what we know:

Rumor has it you can purchase them in store seperatly for $1.99 but this is not confirmed, as well as the online order process which appears to already be sold out, and we don't have a valid link for it at the moment, so please post one in the forum if you find one.
