The Pingue, it'll smuggle you

Pingue, small ship, big masts

She may be small, but the Pingue has plenty of masts, which equals plenty of speed.  Although small, this ship packs some details, and maybe a canon or two.  Be sure to check out it’s evolution in the Pirate Forum.

Prince Egbert's Pleasure Yacht, a Lego ship built by Hinckley

It's not a warship!

Take a look at this old, but not previously blogged on Classic-Pirates.com and truly eye-catching vessel. This Pleasure Yacht was built by Eurobricks member and admin Hinckley in 2007 and really deserves its place in our blog.

Note the amazing figurehead as well as the huge and detailed sterncastle. This creation has a backstory of its own so make sure to check it out as well!

A massive Imperial fortress

Fortress Redband

If a massive well layed out fortress is what you are looking for then look no further.  Tycho McKorley has delivered with Fortress Redband.  The details are phenomenal.  From a full barracks, a kitchen, a dining hall, a dungeon, an armory, and so much more that you really must see.  I cannot stress enough to view his flickr or brickshelf folder to view them all.  This is one stunning MOC.

The Captain's Quarters

A great place to be for a Captain!

Captain Thomas Foolery shows us his personal quarters, and what kind of place is it! It must be the place to be for every pirate. A large waterbed filled with wenches, tons of treasure around, too many rum to speak of and don’t forget all those trophies!

A 20 cannon monster ship!

The Hellbound Heart

Something you do not want to see on the Ocean if you are not a Pirate is the Hellbound Heart.  With 20 canons and it’s massive size, you will hardly stand a chance against her.  The entire side of this ship opens up to show the interior, a site you must see for yourself. Many hours went into creating this ship.

The redcoat’s nasty secret by Brig. Brick

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

Aww..looks like someone needs a medic!

Brig. Brick is a very new member of EB, and though he still has to learn how to deeplink images, he does know how to make a very good and funny comic for the Tournament of Retribution! With blood, clear images and stupid faces he gives a good laugh!

A peeping Pirate

The Naughty Pirate

Pirates are not known for having the best morals.  This fine example of a Pirate shows us just what kind of morals they have.   Be sure to check out the tiled floor and details in side the nice ladies bedroom.   The cutaway room really shows the details.  Get your peek in the Pirate forum.

A Tortured Prisoner by Burman

A tortured prisoner

What do you do with a treacherous redcoat if you are a loyal bluecoat?  Maybe you shoot them point blank with a cannon, maybe you tie them to the mast of your ship and set sail.  Or if you are in a vial mood, you tie them to a bush and light it on fire.  The Tournament of Retribution II is under full swing, check out this and many other entries in the Pirate Forum.

The Supply Tender Ratsee - a Lego creation by Legeaux

The Supply Tender Ratsee

Today is the time to show you another Pirate Lego creation which is not so new, but great and has not previously been featured on Classic-Pirates.com. It’s the fabulous supply tender Ratsée built by Mr. Richie Dulin aka Legeaux.

The hull of this beautiful vessel is partially customised – it uses a white center section which was painted grey. The sails are obviously customs too.

You have to admit that the ship’s colour scheme is really quite eye-catching.

Mr. Bones, leader of the skeletons

How many skeletons does it take to create a maxifig skeleton?  I’m not sure but it takes many many white bricks.    Check out this maxifig skeleton created as a centerpiece for a Pirates display.  There are more pictures in the Pirate forum thread, so why not check it out!

The Phoenician tradeship

The Phoenician trade ship

Sometimes power isn’t needed as much as speed.  When trade is your, well trade, a trade ship is the best bet for cruising through the Caribbean.  Kerntechniker has brought us The Phoenician trade ship.  It may be small in size but with plenty of space on board for crew and treasure, this is one Pirate ship that you may just miss as it steals your bounty and sails off before you know it.
