Islanders Rock

Islanders doing their Islander thing.

Our very own Sebeus I recently built some lovely little Islander creations. These were originally intended to make up a bigger diorama, but the project was never finished. The rocks that Sebeus I constructed are very impressive and offer a very interesting level of detail and shape. How did he do it you ask?

Come find out, then discuss Islanders Rocks in the forum.

LEGO Pirate Run Jack Run MOC TheBrickAvenger

To quote 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', "RUN AWAY!!"

With the apparent demise of LEGO® Pirates of the Caribbean™, we must turn to the MOC community for new creations.  Look no further than Eurobrick's own TheBrickAvenger for a MOC so cool and clean, it could be an official follow-up to 4182 The Cannibal Escape!  I love the minifigure arms used as food scraps and the cool grass hut.

Run reader, run! and discuss Run Jack, Run! in the forum now!

Kahuka Cliff - an Islander MOC by Bjornu

A shelter for the Islanders!

Check out this nice-looking MOC from user Bjornu! With a dock, a waterfall, numerous caves to live in and even a treasure hidden behind the statue, it's definitely a fitting home for King Kahuka and his people.

LEGO Pirate Islanders Palmsail Canoe MOC Sebeus Iniwum

Number one, set the palms to warp four, engage!

Normally when we spot a brick-built hull it is on a great man-of-war or enormous frigate.  Eurobricks member Sebeus Iniwum shows us the benefits of making a brick-built hull on a much smaller vessels with this Islanders MOC.  The palm sail canoe is the highlight, but Sebeus also did a great job with the water, island and cool statue.

The Sad Night

It may seem happy with all the parrots and banana trees, but there's sadness under the leaves.

Because this is a Brickshelf find we don't know anything about the author (Hardegon) except that he makes excellent MOCs. But of course that's the most important thing for a LEGO forum. The islanders seem to be on their return: another nice islanders MOC was posted a few days ago by Eurobricks member Bjornu. So the subject is a good choice, and the elaboration is great as well, with action, banana trees and a rock with a face.

Check out The Sad Night by Hardegon in the forum.

Islanders cave rock mountain gold treasure fishes adventure pirates face waterfall

A big pile of treasure, with LED-lights!

This huge MOC, full of fishes, gold and goldfishes was created by flickr member Redmond LEGO man. The rock structure may look quite dangerous, but if you make it to the cave you will be a rich man.

Click here to see Terra Volcanis by I Screan Clone in the Forum!

Run for your lives!

In his latest Moc, I Scream Clone shows us the power of nature. The beautiful island, inhabited by many islanders is doomed to die! Why? Because of the huge volcanic eruption ...  The cottages alongside the many other details, like birds, palm trees and animals, are beautifully designed. In addition, it is rather rare to see so many islanders in one bunch.

So, you see, it's absolutely worthwhile to stop by the Forum and visit Terra Volcanis by I Scream Clone.

Dinner With the Islanders by Azaghal Gabilzaramul

Friday, September 24th, 2010

Would he taste good with some bananas?

Azaghal isn't a member of Eurobricks, but he's a good MOCmaker. EB-member Mister Phes found this funny MOC on MOCpages. The description is "Captain Gerald tragically misinterprets the Islanders desire to, "have him for dinner". The banana and the evil smile of the islanders explain a lot.
