Gilded Crow - 22 Gun Galleon

Gilded Crow - 22 Gun Galleon

Ummester has shared with us his LDD build galleon and what a beauty she is! With a traditional brown overall look, this ship looks very realistic. To add some flare the ship has been lined with dark blue, gold, and red colors, resembling an Ozzie football team and ultimately leading to this 22 gun galleon being called Gilded Crow. Currently in the brick ordering stage, lets hope Ummester can recreate this master piece in the flesh!

Teamwork Across on the Seas

Working together over email, Yatkuu and 6Kyubi6 have created two sets that fit together perfectly in style and function. The wrecked ship has been masterfully changed into a place for the remaining crew to live on Shark Reef's rocky outcroppings. The creations have a lot of great details from the pirates re-purposing parts of the ship, very much worth checking out the close up photos.

PTC Contest Entry by Captain Nemo/MstrOfPppts

The contest entries keep rolling in, and here is another wonderful entry by Captain Nemo and MstrOfPppts.  They have incorporated several great play features and details.  Most interesting is their unconventional  way of connecting the modules with technic pins!

Captain Redbeard Maxifig

Pirate reviewer extraordinaire and former crew member Boomchil has finished his first MOC, and it's a true work of art!  He recreated the classic LEGO pirate Captain Redbeard minifigure in large scale.  Perfect proportions and excellent attention to detail make this a superb creation.

(Micro) Pirates of the Caribbean

Flickr user Anonymous Bricks has uploaded this creative micro build using only 11 pieces! Some parts are cleverly used, such as the Bionicle head and the plastic waterfall sheet from the Fountain of Youth set. This small display goes to show that you don't always need to build a huge creation to showcase creativity.

HMS Bulldog

MassEditor has shared with us his first ship using a brick-built hull and custom rigging. It's appropriately named the HMS Bulldog after it's stubby nature and fierce armaments.  It's even armed with a piercing battering ram! Even the deck is armed with clever weaponry and great detail.

Black Rock Tribe

MOCpages member brick to form built this wonderful Islander display.  The island has lots of play features built in,  and a beautiful brick built waterfall.  The pirate ship is very nice, and has secret compartments to hide their booty!  All in all this is an excellent MOC, sure to please any LEGO Pirates fan.

An island paradise? Not likely.

Eurobricks member sweetsha built this amusing island scene to show off his CMF Tiki Warriors, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy it! Of particular note are the snake statue and the adorably carnivorous man-eating plants. These bumbling pirates are definitely in over their heads!

"The Dutchman sails as its captain commands!"

Ash brings us a wonderful rendition of Davy Jones' Flying Dutchman. The moss-ridden ship is frightening with it's masthead full of teeth. Complete with sales, and organ, and captain's cabin, this ship is a hefty 80 cm in length. Check out the rest of the photos on the forum.
